Business Policies

POSTAGE
Cost
Kakadu Collections Babywear and Accessories will ship your items within Australia for a $11 flat rate fee. Items will be shipped with Australia Post in a standard shipping satchel with tracking details that the customer will be provided with.

We are now offering shipping to New Zealand. Rates start from $15.50 for up to 250gms and incremental up to $36 for a 2kg package. Cost will be calculated at checkout. Any excess fees paid will be refunded to the customer once the item has been posted. It is recommended that the customer pay for additional insurance for postage overseas. Kakadu Collections will not be responsible for lost or damaged items, although will assist with any investigation or claim for compensation for loss with Australia Post.

Time for delivery
Your item will be dispatched within 2 business days after payment is made, unless otherwise advised. Australia Post usually commit to delivery within 7 days, but occasionally a parcel can be late due to reasons that are out of our control.

I am estimating delivery up to 21 days for New Zealand, although due to distance and New Zealand Customs procedures the time for delivery is out of our control.

Express Postage
If you require your item quickly then please contact us to arrange Australia Post Express Post - charges will be at cost by Australia Post. We will do our best to post the item ASAP but please understand we have no control over the Australia Post's delivery time.

Pick-up Option
Items may be collected from Dalmeny, NSW by arrangement. Please contact us to arrange a suitable time. There is no charge for postage on items collected.

PRODUCT UNAVAILABILITY

There may be an occasion where we are unable to supply an item that has been purchased on-line. Whilst we have practices in place to prevent this, in the event this occurs a full refund of the item will be made or if possible, a new item using the same fabric can be manufactured with 7 days and sent to you. You will be contacted if this issue occurs and be given the option of a refund or a replacement item.

PAYMENT, REFUNDS AND RETURNS

 

Payment

Kakadu Collections Babywear & Accessories use PayPal and Stripe as the preferred payment method - this ensures customer banking information is processed on a secure site. If you do not have a PayPal account, Visa or Mastercard, or just prefer to pay direct from your bank account, please contact us so we can provide you with our bank details so a direct debit payment transaction can be made. Please note that if using direct deposit as the payment method items will not be dispatched until the money appears in our account.

If you live near Dalmeny, South Coast, NSW you may be able to collect your items in person and pay then. Please contact us to discuss this option further.

Returns

Kakadu Collections Babywear & Accessories will accept returns and refund your money in full (excluding the shipping rate) for any items you are not happy with that remain UNWORN. Customers have 30 days to request a refund for any item purchased. If an item is faulty and is required to be repaired, we will cover the cost of postage for the item to be returned for repair. If the item is unable to be repaired, we will refund to cost of the item (less shipping cost). The decision to refund is at the discretion of Kakadu Collections Babywear & Accessories.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed for payment back into the customer bank account within 2 business days after receipt of the returned items, noting though that as the refund is processed through a third party (Bank, PayPal or Stripe) it may take longer than 3 days for the amount to be credited back to the customer's bank account.

PRIVACY

As with all shopping websites, we collect personal information from you when you shop online with Kakadu Collections.  

We only use this information to process your order and to inform you of any delays or problems with your order. It is our policy to communicate via email so if you place an order, please check your email inbox for any details about your order, including shipping tracking numbers.

The information we collect is:

  • Your name – so we know what to call you

  • Email address – so we can email you details regarding your purchase or send you information about Kakadu Collections Babywear & Accessories sales or offers. 

  • Delivery address – an obvious one.

  • Mobile or Phone Number - we will only use this to contact you if we need to contact you urgently and haven't been successful via email or if you have contacted us via phone initially.

 

Your payment details will be maintained and protected in accordance with PayPal & Stripe policy. We will not share your personal information with anyone apart from Australia Post. This is required to ensure your order is delivered.

All efforts are made to ensure security is maintained on our website. Our site is SSL secured so allows our customers to navigate our website and submit information securely via HTTPS.
